Shortly after his arrival in the parish Fr Pat called a team of people to help him to look at the strengths and needs of the parish. The team carried out a census and after looking at what was already in existence in the parish established a Parish Council. The members are chosen by the various parish groups (see diagram) to represent their interests and to report on what is happening as well as unifying parish life and activity. Since its establishment the Parish Council has adopted a Constitution and is now actively supporting Fr Pat in his ministry in the parish.
